Model X-ST comes in seven capacities for tension testing; all are equipped with a maximum load pointer. Force is applied against spheircal rod end fittings on models to 2000 pounds and with shackles and pins on 5000 and 10,000 pound models. The X-ST is available in pound or kilogram capacities.

Accuracy ±1%F.S. (±2% - 25K & 50K) NIST Calibration Certificate included.

MODEL OPTIONS

Model X-PP is a push-pull force gage available in four capacities to measure compression or tension reading compression clockwise from zero and tension conversely. Models up to and including 1000 pounds are supplied with a set of self-aligning spherical rod end connectors for tension loading. Models with 2500 and 5000 pound capacities are equipped with two shackle adapters, shackles and pins for tensile testing. All X-PP gages are also supplied with a ball fitting for compression loading. The X-PP is available in pound or kilogram capacities.

Accuracy ±2% F.S. Full Scale. NIST Calibration Certificate included.

The three versions of the Dillon Model X Gage Series measure compression, tension and push-pull forces in a wide range of capacities to 25,000 pounds. The "D" shaped deflection spring constructed from high strength aluminum with higher ranges in alloy steel is the heart of the Model X force gage. The easily read dial may be equipped with an optional shockless dial indicator for tests that involve the sudden application or release of force.

A maximum reading pointer is standard on Models X-C and X-ST. Dial options include: zero position at 12, 3, 6 or 9 o'clock. The X gages are protected by a baked enamel finish to resist corrosion and rust. All models sustain overloads up to 30% of capacity with no damage to the indicator or spring. All capacities feature a 5:1 safety factor and may be mounted horizontally, vertically or flat. Capacities up to 10,000 pounds include carrying case; higher ranges include wooden boxes.

Constructed of quality alloy steel.
Rotating dial with zero adjust lock for zero adjustment.
Flat bottom surface standard on all models; recessed bottom available on models thru 250 pounds for limited vertical clearance (0.349" thick).
Large easy-to-read dial available with pound, kilogram or Newton graduations.
Optional shock resistant dial indicator is available for added shock protection.
May be permanently mounted on a plate or in test fixtures.

OPERATION

Compression force is applied to a fitting mounted on upper beam surface.
Maximum reading pointer is included for peak force hold.
Recessed deflection beam and compression load fittings are recommended when vertical clearance is extremely limited.

POWER REQUIREMENTS

Choice of load buttons - one with flat bottom models, two with recessed models, maximum reading pointer and carrying case.
Optional: A variety of load buttons and shockless dial indicator.
