The MG Digital Force Gauge provides basic force measuring at an economical price where space is limited and added features unnecessary with a wide range of capacities from 0.12 lbf to 500 lbf.

Basic features include load shaft reversal for hand-held or test stand use, selectable pound, kilogram or Newton units, push-button zero, peak memory hold and auto-off for battery power conservation.

The AC power adapter provides continuous use with a non-rechargeable battery for back-up or for portable use.

CONSTRUCTION

  • Compact lightweight aluminum housing.
  • Split housing for upright display with shaft up or down.
  • 41/2 digit 0.3" LCD display and 3 button keypad.
  • American standard load shaft and mounting threads.

OPERATION

  • Peak force sampling rate: 30/second.
  • Tension and compression peaks held in memory.
  • Selectable units: lbf, kgf or N.
  • Simple push-button calibration procedure.

POWER REQUIREMENTS

  • Continuous operation with 110 or 220 Vac adapter.
  • Non-rechargeable battery for 30 hours operation.
  • "Lo Bat" display warns of low battery.
  • Auto-off conserves battery power.
